Slang and Idioms Wiki is a collaborative online encyclopedia dedicated to the cataloging of all types of slang terms and expressions, including regional idioms, universally used words, and even internet slang. The vision is one single place where anyone can come to find a well-organized, well-documented source for all the slang and expressions they wish to know about. Another good way to start editing and/or reading is to take a look at the "Categories" category, which contains links to every content category on the wiki, which in turn contain links to relevant topics within those categories.

• Friday, October 30th, 2009 - The wiki has been officially created, and is still in the basic construction process. Articles are not generally being created at this time, but are not unwelcome. The current objective, however, is completing all policy and background pages, as well as categories, main page formatting, and MediaWiki stuffs. If I can find reputable volunteers who are genuinely interested in the project, I'll also be looking to appoint a small staff of administrators.
